Former Fiji Under-16 rugby player, Tomasi Tikonilia will be Nasinu Secondary School's bet in the Senior Boys 100 metres final in the Coca Cola Suva Zone One at ANZ Stadium.
He ran a manual time of 10.93 seconds in the heat this morning and has qualified for the final later this afternoon.
The 18-year-old won gold in the Junior Boys 100 metres final in Suva Zone 1 in 2019.
Tikonilia says he is hopeful of securing the blue-ribbon event.
He will also be participating in the 200 metres and 4x100 metres finals.
Meanwhile, Tikonilia adds he also wants to play for Fiji Under 18 rugby team.
