72-year-old Ana Vulikoto of Cunningham says through the hardships faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, God found a way for them to earn money to provide for their families and their congregation.

Vulikoto was amongst the early founders of the $450,000 newly constructed Kecisemani Church at Cunningham Stage 4 that was officially opened yesterday.

She says during the period of the lockdown and restrictions, women in their community sold pies, cupcakes and pudding and other pastries around the Cunningham area to support their families and also assist in their contribution towards the construction of their newly built church.

Vulikoto says the selling of lovo packs and food has also helped their congregation over the past years and through the pandemic.

The 72-year old says during every hardship, God will be there to show the way.
