The well-being of the Nasinu community members is our top priority - Nasinu Town Council

Ensuring the well-being of our community members is a top priority.

This has been highlighted by the Nasinu Town Council following their cleanup and youth awareness campaign where they focused on four critical topics such as health, drugs, mental health and social welfare.

They say with the rising cases of HIV/AIDS and other health concerns, it is essential to educate our youth on the importance of maintaining good health and practising safe behaviours.

The Council also highlighted the issue of drugs which is a growing problem in our community, leading to severe health issues and contributing to the rise in criminal activities.

They add by educating our youth about the dangers of drug abuse, they aim to reduce these cases and promote a healthier lifestyle.

They also highlighted mental health is just as important as physical health, where many young people struggle with mental health issues, which can lead to severe consequences if not addressed.

They add their aim to create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive, through tackling poverty, providing access to education, and promoting social justice.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka was also part of this cleanup campaign.
