The Voice of Rugby League, Ray Warren has officially called time on his legendary commentary career.

The 78-year-old confirmed the news today, ending months of speculation about his future.

He has called 99 Origin games but won't call another. He also called 45 NRL grand finals.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports having established himself as one of Australia’s greatest broadcasters, Warren was mindful of trashing his legacy with a mistake in the final years of his career.
