The 2023 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl event got off to an electrifying start today with some close games between the Police and Army in the netball and volleyball competitions.
In the netball competition, the Service Women Team 2 match, Army Service Team 2 edged Police Service Team 2 by 24-23.
Police team 2 edged Army team 2 3 sets to 2 in the Men’s volleyball competition while the Police Women’s 1 team beat Army Women’s 1 3 sets to nil in the Women’s volleyball competition.
The Sukuna Bowl netball and volleyball competitions are still underway at the Netball Centre in Suva.
The Ratu Sukuna Bowl rugby match between defending champions Police and Army will kick off at 4.30pm Friday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
