The Chef de Mission for Team Fiji to the Tokyo Olympics, Patrick Bower says for now they are getting ready for the Games and if all goes well and Japan will still be staging the Olympics, team Fiji will be heading to Japan.
Bower says there have been a lot of speculation about whether the Olympics will go ahead or not and until they get a confirmation from the International Olympic Committee and those involved on the ground in Japan, they are working towards as Fiji would be going to the Games.
Bower says they will be talking to the International Olympic Committee tonight through a teleconference and will discuss matters regarding going to Tokyo and what are the things that need to be done.
