Team Fiji scoops awards at National Clubs Carnival Aerobic Gymnastics Competition

Team Fiji scooped some awards during the 2025 National Clubs Carnival Aerobic Gymnastics Competition across various divisions delivering outstanding performances and bringing home medals, top rankings and special awards.

This was shared by the Manager and Director for Gymnastics Federation of Fiji Maria Alvarado.

Alvarado says in the level 3 which caters for the ages of 7 to 11, Arsene de Luzuriaga led the way for team Fiji with a score of 12.400, securing an impressive 14th place in his division.

She says in the level 3 which is for 6 to 11, Evelyn Irava and Rhonda Rounds brought home bronze medals with a fantastic score of 12.850.

Alvarado says in the level 4 division, for ages 7 to 11, Kesaia Sivo posted team Fiji’s top score of 12.700, earning 13th place in her division, and in the Level 4 for ages 6–11 the duo of Kesaia Sivo and Unaisi Namuaira shone brightly, scoring 12.400 and placed in the Top 6 for their division.

She adds the level 4 category which is specifically for ages 12 and above, Karalaini Naituivau achieved an outstanding 12.783, 9th ranking and Maja Plinkert, Karalaini Naituivau scored 12.000, finishing in the top 6 in their division.

Alvarado says the level 5 category Lexi Millar showcased her talent with a strong 13.166, securing 11th place in her division.

She says AeroDance Division 1 where Evelyn Irava, Karalaini Naituivau, Unaisi Namuaira, and Kesaia Sivo delivered an energetic routine, earning Silver Medals with a score of 12.466 and the youth International and in the Individual Women, Lauren Pilla impressed with a powerful performance, scoring 14.616 and finishing 11th in her division.

Finally, Alvarado says special recognition and a proud moment for Fiji as the Special Performance Award was presented to Karalaini Naituivau, Tirzah Helenani, Kesaia Sivo, Unaisi Namuaira, Jemesa Lau, Arsene de Luzuriaga, and Lindy Wilson for their dedication, talent, and inspiring performances.
