A 41-year-old taxi driver has passed away following an accident along the Queens Highway.
Police say the taxi which the victim was driving collided with an oncoming vehicle at a sharp bend along the Queen's Highway at around 5pm Sunday.
The two occupants of the taxi are being treated at the Sigatoka Hospital while the driver of the oncoming vehicle is in serious condition and is admitted at the Lautoka Hospital.
They say a post-mortem exam was conducted yesterday where the cause of death was determined to be injuries sustained from the accident.
Investigation continues.
