Tabuya to represent Fiji at inaugural Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children

Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection Lynda Tabuya will be representing Fiji at the inaugural Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children, in Bogota, Colombia this month.

The Minister will be accompanied by Child Advisor to the Ministry, Natalie Siegel-Brown and Director Children Arieta Tagivetaua at the conference.

Tabuya is expected to present the Fiji Government's pledge to end violence against children during the conference.

The conference is an opportunity to concretely accelerate action to end violence against children, including investment in more solid and integrated child protection and violence prevention systems.

The outcome of the conference will promote the commitments relating to addressing violence against children as outlined in Fiji's National Development Plan 2025-2029.
