TC Harold intensifies to category 5 cyclone

Tropical Cyclone Harold has increased to a monster category 5 cyclone with sustained winds close to its centre of 215 kilometres per hour.

This is according to the Vanuatu Meteorology Service.

The cyclone is expected to affect Vanuatu.
