South Africa has created history by reaching their first ever T20 Men’s World Cup final after thrashing Afghanistan by 9 wickets.

The Proteas had failed to progress from all seven of their previous World Cup semi finals across formats.

They dismissed Afghanistan for 56 in 11.5 overs on a difficult pitch on their way to a nine-wicket win in Trinidad.

Meanwhile, in another semi final, India will play England at 2.30am tomorrow.

The final will be at 2.30am Sunday.
