Defending champions Suva has closed the gap on Lautoka at the top of the Digicel Premier League after beating them 2-1 yesterday.
Two goals from Merril Nand against his former side was enough for Suva to take all three points.
Lautoka is currently leading the table with 23 points while Suva is second with 20 points however Lautoka has played a game less.
In another match yesterday, Rewa thrashed Nadroga 3-0 at Lawaqa Park.
Gabirieli Matanisiga, Ivan Kumar and Anish Khem scored a goal each for Rewa.
Meanwhile, Nadi beat Labasa 1-0 and Ba thrashed Navua 3-0 in the other two matches.
