The Registrar of Political Parties and Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says the suspension of the National Federation Party is an option if the party fails to rectify its account.
Saneem says they are still verifying the financial accounts of other years.
He further says a lot of the issues may be resolved once the independent auditor does a thorough job on the audited financial statements of the party.
