A suspect remains in custody as investigations continue into the alleged case of murder in Colo-i-Suva on Tuesday morning.
The victim was allegedly struck with a cane knife several times and passed away at the CWM Hospital on Thursday night.
He had sustained serious injuries.
Police say the victim was allegedly attacked by a man in his 20s following a heated argument.
