Former Fiji 7s captain Kalione Nasoko and current captain Meli Derenalagi have been named in the Fiji Shadow 7s team that will participate in the 45th Fiji Bitter Sapphire Marist 7s.
Other players included are Josua Vakurunabuli, Iosefo Masi, Josevata Talacolo, Simione Cece, Jerry Tuwai, Asaeli Tuivuaka, Waisea Nacuqu, Napolioni Ratu, Kitione Taliga, Onisi Ratave, Jiuta Wainiqolo, Sireli Maqala, and Livai Ikanikoda.
The Shadow 7s team is pooled with Moala Vonokula, NYB Rugby and Paradise Beverages Fiji Gold.
Their first match is against Moala Vonokula at 9.12am Friday.
The Marist 7s will kick-off tomorrow with the under 21 and women's competition.
The men’s competition will begin on Friday.
