Six people are currently receiving medical treatment at the Oceania Hospital after the bus they were travelling in veered off the road and crashed in Wailoku this morning.
Police say the driver is also receiving treatment at the hospital.
The cause of the accident is yet to be established as Police investigations continue.
A Wailoku resident says she heard a loud bang at around 6.30 this morning and people screaming.
She says Police officers who were at the scene used a chainsaw to cut off trees because a woman was trapped inside the bus.
