Six people are homeless after a fire destroyed their home in Lautoka this morning.
The National Fire Authority says they received a call at 8.20am today about a fire at Jinnu Road in Drasa Vitogo in Lautoka.
They dispatched a team from their Lautoka Station and upon their arrival, they found that the two-bedroom corrugated iron and timber house was fully engulfed in flames.
NFA says through the quick action of their team, they were able to extinguish the flames and prevented it from spreading to nearby homes.
The NFA is currently carrying out its investigations to ascertain the cause of the fire.
