Sitiveni Rabuka will be Prime Minister if NFP and People’s Alliance come into Govt – Prof. Prasad
NFP Leader Professor Biman Prasad stresses a point during Straight Talk with Vijay Narayan last night.

National Federation Party Leader, Professor Biman Prasad has revealed that if they form the next government with the People’s Alliance, Sitiveni Rabuka will be the Prime Minister and they will form a government with People's Alliance despite any party having more seats than the other after the election.

While speaking on fijivillage Straight Talk With Vijay Narayan, Professor Prasad says the two parties have decided that between the two of them, they will form the government, and that is the bottom line.

He says there are a number of principles they have also agreed to and signed, which will form the basis of forming the next government.

When questioned on which party they are ready to work with if it comes to negotiations, the NFP Leader says FijiFirst is out of the question because the people of this country do not want them in government.

He says they are willing to work with other parties except the FijiFirst Party.

He adds that one thing he is very confident and optimistic about is that they will win substantially more seats in this election, and will be in a very strong position when they form the government with their partners, the People’s Alliance.

The general elections will be held on the 14th of next month, while the pre-poll starts on the 5th of next month.
