A single mother of two who won $5000 in Vodafone Fiji’s Family Selfie Competition in partnership with FM96, Navtarang and Viti FM intends to open a handicraft shop.
Vani Nagadi says she has been planning to open a handicraft shop since last year but finance has been an issue and the prize money is a blessing.
Nagadi who is from Rakiraki says she is currently working from home but the income is not enough.
The 24-year-old adds initially she did not believe that she had won the sum.
Nagadi had sent her family selfie to Viti FM.
Nagadi says she came all the way from Rakiraki just to attend the event today.
