Minister for Disaster Management Inia Seruiratu is in Vanua Levu today to visit affected areas and also meet with Commissioner Northern about response efforts for flood-affected areas.
Members of the RFMF and NFA are spearheading the distribution of food rations in the North.
Seruiratu says 50 ration packs have been distributed by the government in the Northern Division but there has also been distribution by other stakeholders.
