Two serious sex cases against two women for separate alleged incidents have been discontinued.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions says a 46 year old woman was charged with the rape and sexual assault of her 9 year old daughter, while in another incident a 30 year old woman was charged with the rape of a 4 year old girl.
However both matters were discontinued due to insufficient evidence and to allow police to conduct further investigation in these matters.
Five cases were withdrawn in February due to insufficient evidence and false complaints.
