The search continues for the 42-year-old man who was swept away by strong currents in Navutu waters in Lautoka.
Divisional Police Commander West Senior Superintendent of Police Iakobo Vaisewa says the 42-year-old dock worker was swimming after a drifting fibreglass boat when he was swept away by strong currents.
He says the initial search conducted yesterday proved futile, and the search efforts will continue today.
