The search continues for the man, who allegedly seriously injured a woman at Albert Lee Place, off Nailuva Road in Suva yesterday afternoon, which caused her death.
Police say the suspect allegedly seriously injured the victim with a broken bottle.
They say another woman, who was staying with the couple relayed the incident to her partner, whereby a report was lodged.
Police say the suspect fled the scene, however investigators are questioning the rest of the occupants of the home.
They say investigations continue and a post mortem will be conducted to confirm the cause of death.
