A man in his 60s has passed away following an unfortunate accident on Rabi Island yesterday morning.
Police say the incident occurred at Levuka Settlement.
The victim who was from Nakalou Village in Seaqaqa was operating a roller machine when it rolled down a cliff.
Police say the man tried to jump to safety but was unfortunately caught under the heavy machine allegedly resulting in his death.
Police investigations continue.
