Sayed-Khaiyum back in the country - Police

Former Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is back in the country.

This has been confirmed by Police.

Chief of Intelligence and Investigations Assistant Commissioner of Police Surend Sami says officers in the West have complied with the watch order in place in that upon his arrival, they are to inform CID, and they will proceed from there on in accordance with the ongoing investigations.

Minister for Rural, Maritime Development and Disaster Management and General Secretary for the People’s Alliance, Sakiasi Ditoka had filed a complaint against Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum on the 22nd of December last year for allegedly inciting racial hatred and violence in view of his public statements at a press conference in Suva.
