The Sai Prema Foundation, through its Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre will offer free general medical consultations and medications to all personnel of the Fiji Police Force, their spouses and children.
The Foundation will also be offering the children of police officers free heart screenings as well as free dental treatment at the Children’s Dental Centre which opens soon.
Director, Sumeet Tappoo says he wanted to inculcate a culture of gratitude in Fiji through this signing.
Tappoo says the signing is a simple act of expressing their gratitude to the officers who sacrifice themselves to serve and protect the citizens of our nation.
He says the partnership is a win-win for everyone concerned.
Commissioner of Police, Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho has thanked the Foundation for giving members of the Force and their families the opportunity to access critical health services considering the nature of their work that can take a toll on their mental and physical health.
Qiliho says knowing that their families and children can access these life-saving medical services is truly appreciated.
He adds they will surely utilise the services offered through this partnership to improve the health status of the workforce.
