Sai Prema Foundation Fiji through its Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre and outreach medical camps, will offer free general medical consultations and medications for all personnel of the NFA and their spouses and children.
They will also will also be offering the children of the NFA personnel free heart screenings at the Sai Sanjeevani Heart Screening Centre and through outreach heart screening camps as well as free dental treatment at the soon-to-be-opened Children’s Dental Centre.
The Chief Executive Officer of the National Fire Authority Puamau Sowane says they are extremely grateful to the Foundation for this great collaborative initiative to assist the firefighters and their families.
He says over 600 employees, both fire fighters and administrative personnel, located across 20 fire stations all over Fiji, will benefit from this partnership.
Sai Prema Foundation Director Sumeet Tappoo says this partnership is a win-win for all concerned.
Tappoo says not only will they offer free medical consultations to the personnel and families but they also aim to advocate a healthier lifestyle through various efforts and initiatives.
This is the second such partnership signing by Sai Prema Foundation who also signed with the Fiji Police Force last week and the Foundation will also embark upon two more partnerships in the coming days.
