19-year-old Rupeni Caucaunibuca Junior, who is the son of former Fiji Water Flying Flying Fijian wing Rupeni Caucaunibuca has reportedly been signed by French club Montpellier.
Caucaunibuca Junior scooped the Blue Ribbon title during the Coca-Cola Triple N Zone meet earlier this year.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has offered his congratulations saying this marks the start of an exciting new chapter for the 19-year old Bua lad.
Rabuka says the legacy continues as Rupeni Jnr follows in his father’s footsteps, carrying the hopes of a proud rugby nation with him.
Caucaunibuca Senior played for the Auckland Blues, Agen and Tolouse in the early 2000’s.
