Ro Filipe Tuisawau, who is currently the Minister for Public Works, Transport, Meteorological Services, and the Leader of Government Business in Parliament, will be the Acting Prime Minister while Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka is on an official visit to Australia from today till next Saturday.
This appointment will be effective from today and conclude upon Rabuka’s return to Fiji.
Rabukas’ visit to Australia is an opportunity to strengthen bilateral ties and collaboration between the two nations.
