Rewa fell short of securing a spot in the OFC Champions League semi finals as they lost to the defending champions Hienghene Sports 2-0.
Rewa only needed a draw to remain second in the pool.
Both teams were locked at 0-0 at half time.
Hienghene Sports got their first goal in the 65th minute from a free kick just outside the 18 yard box and the second goal in the 74th minute.
Rusiate Matarerega was shown a yellow card in the 70th minute and Samuela Nabenia was shown a yellow card in the 89th minute.
The two semi finals will be played on Sunday and the final will be played next Wednesday.
