Rewa Masters has won the Vodafone/Praveen’s Kava Southern Veterans soccer tournament after beating Rewa Legends 4-3 in the final in penalty shootout at the Uprising Sports Centre.
Both teams were locked 0-0 at full time.
Former Rewa goalkeeper Joela Baleidrokadroka was the hero for the side as he saved two penalties in the shootout.
They also had the services of former National and district reps such as Patrick Wise, Pita Rabo, Sailosi Livatalo, Thomas Vulivuli, Seveci Rokotakala and Manoa Masi.
In the semifinals, Rewa Masters beat Nasinu Masters 3-0 in penalty shootout while Rewa Legends beat Suva Combine Masters 2-1.
