Remember your families and follow the conditions of your contracts - Vosarogo
Acting Minister for Employment, Productivity, and Industrial Relations Filimone Vosarogo

54 Fijian workers who will be leaving the country for New Zealand under the Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) scheme were reminded by the Acting Minister for Employment, Productivity, and Industrial Relations Filimone Vosarogo to always remember their families that are back in Fiji.

While speaking during the farewell ceremony, Vosarogo says some of those selected it will be their first time in New Zealand, and New Zealand will be a new experience for them.

He also reminded the 54 workers to follow the conditions of their contracts and the law of the country, as they will be the people portraying Fiji to the world when they are in New Zealand.

He adds that assistance will always be provided by the Fiji Government if workers encounter some challenges in their work.

The Minister urged the workers to ensure that they do not break the trust of their employers so that more Fijians can be part of this scheme to improve their standard of living.

The 54 selected workers will be part of the horticultural industry and work under the Alapa Viticultural Services Limited.
