Ratu Epenisa Cakobau has acknowledged the people of Bau for their support, especially, his spokesman, Aisea Jack Komaitai, for his 33-years of service.
While speaking after the church service, Ratu Epenisa also acknowledged the presence of the Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and the cabinet ministers, friends and family who have supported him.
Ratu Epenisa has called on the people for their support and prayers as he undertakes the role of the Vunivalu.
The traditional ceremonies for the installation of the Vunivalu Na Tui Kaba is about to start.
The yaqona and tabua presentation will follow and there will be traditional dances.
