Rakesa to make Paralympics debut today

After months of challenges and hard work, Team Fiji Paralympic athlete Iosefo Rakesa will make his Paralympic debut this hour.

Rakesa will feature in the Shot Put F41 category at 1:08pm.

Meanwhile, Inosi Bulimairewa will take part in the Men's javelin F64 throw at 10 tonight.

This is the first time for both athletes to participate in the Paralympic Games.

Meanwhile, China is leading the medal tally with 46 gold, 29 silver and 29 bronze, Great Britain is second with 23 gold, 19 silver and 18 bronze while USA is third with 15 gold, 16 silver and 9 bronze.
