Radrodro reminds parents and guardians to be vigilant in the supervision of their children

As the second term school break begins tomorrow, Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro is urging parents and guardians are reminded to be vigilant in the supervision of their children.

He is also urging them to engage their children in lifelong skills activities during the school holidays.

Radrodro has also acknowledged the steadfastness of teachers in their roles around the country.

He says he understand that the term was very eventful for all schools around the country.

The Minister says teachers focused on lesson coverage and at the same time accommodated extra-curricular activities such as sports.

He says despite the challenges faced during the term, the teachers continued to show resilience and compassion towards promoting holistic education.

Radrodro has also reminded all heads of schools to ensure that the school premises are securely locked in the two weeks.

All teachers are expected to resume duties on Monday, September 11th when school reopens for term 3. Classes will begin proper on Tuesday 12th September.
