The race is now on for London 7s defending champions Australia, South Africa and Samoa as they will try to finish on a high note at the last tournament of he series to claim the final spot up for grabs.

While the All Blacks 7s team is confirmed as the winner of the 2022/2023 World 7s series, there is still a lot more to play for at the London 7s for these three teams as they will want to book their place for the games next year without a sweat.

With NZ, Argentina and Fiji booking their spot for the games next year and France qualifying as they are the host nation, there is one more spot left for an automatic qualification.

Australia will need to finish in the top 4 this weekend in order to claim the spot.

On the other hand, South Africa will try and finish three places ahead of the defending champions in order to steal that final spot and so too is the same for Samoa.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team will play Ireland at 9.23pm tomorrow in their first pool match, they will then meet Argentina at 12.53am Sunday, and face Japan at 4.07am Sunday in their final pool match.

The cup quarter finals will start at 8.45pm Sunday, the cup semi-finals will begin at 12.33am Monday and the cup final will be held at 4.26am Monday.
