It doesn’t matter who did it, for as far as the world was concerned, Fiji did it to you.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka highlighted this during a thanksgiving Service held at USP yesterday and he also apologized to the Vice Chancellor of the University of the South Pacific, Professor Pal Ahluwalia on behalf of Fiji for the way he was treated.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the Vice Chancellor for agreeing to travel back to Fiji and continue his service.
Rabuka says Fijians have been orphans since he left, but now they have their parents back.
He also encouraged Professor Ahluwalia and his team to break new ground in bringing people together in Fiji and the Pacific and continue to promote regional cooperation.
The Prime Minister says it was a great occasion to celebrate and was glad to be part of the event.
