The Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Major General Ro Jone Kalouniwai has disclaimed a memo being widely circulated that the RFMF is concerned about the recent decisions made by the government.
When approached by fijivillage News on the memo, Major General Kalouniwai says they do not use the logo on their official letterheads, and the logo used in the document is used on their uniforms.
The Commander stresses the RFMF disclaims the memo.
When asked on whether some issues of concern have been raised like the appointment of the Attorney General, Major General Kalouniwai only said that their official response to the AG appointment issue has been given to their line Minister, and he will leave it to the Minister to comment on it and it’s contents.
