High Court Judge, Justice Daniel Goundar has ordered that a psychiatric evaluation be done of an alleged rapist.
The man allegedly raped and sexually assaulted a close family member in January this year.
Justice Goundar has referred the man to St Giles Hospital to check on his ability to stand for trial in the case.
He has given time until 21st April for the report to be filed in court and the matter has been adjourned to the 28th of April.
The man has been further remanded in custody.
