Watching his son play rugby since he was young, William Reece always knew that Sevu Reece will reach great heights in rugby and is not surprised by the success of the Crusaders and All Blacks winger.

As Sevu prepares to take on the Blues in the Super Rugby Pacific final tonight, he is fully aware that his family and friends back home in Fiji are backing him and are expecting nothing less than a win.

The 25-year-old who joined the Crusaders in 2019 will be playing in his 3rd Super Rugby final tonight.

This includes winning the Super Rugby title in 2019 and the Super Rugby Aotearoa title last year.

Speaking to fijivillage, William Reece says they will be having a small get together with grog and BBQ with families tonight to show their support, and they are hoping for a win.

He says winning in Auckland will be one of the highlights in Sevu’s career because the previous finals have been in Christchurch.

Reece says this is the last game and he has told his son Sevu to give it his all because there are so many people looking forward to the game tonight.

The Crusaders will meet the Blues in the final of Super Rugby Pacific at 7.05 tonight.
