President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere today received the Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton at the State House.
Ratu Wiliame says he is pleased and proud to welcome the Queen's Baton before it continues with its journey.
He received the baton from our two Olympians Jerry Tuwai and Rusila Nagasau.
The arrival of the baton has signified an exciting moment in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham on 28 July 2022.
The baton will travel to all Commonwealth countries before it embarks on the final stretch of its journey across England for 25 days.
