The Regional Chief Executive Officer of the Vodafone Group of Companies, Pradeep Lal has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Fiji Sugar Corporation.
Lal has been with Vodafone for over two decades.
He takes over from former Chairman, Vishnu Mohan.
Savendra Dayal has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of
the FSC Board. Dayal is an experienced management executive with over 35 years of service with multi-national organizations, including Johnson and Johnson.
The FSC says with the inclusion of the 2 diversely experienced professionals in the Board, the management is optimistic
the company will be guided in the right direction and will make a turnaround in the next few years.
