The Fiji Airways Men's National 7s Team Coach Gareth Baber says the postponement of tournaments in the HSBC World 7s Series has given them the opportunity and time for their injured players to recover well.

Few players that were injured include Kalione Nasoko and Paula Dranisinukula and Livai Ikanikoda.

Nasoko and Dranisinukula were supposed to make their return in Hong Kong but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament has been postponed till October.

Ikanikoda sustained an ankle injury during the Las Vegas 7s. Baber says it also gives the players the time to learn and master their game plans.

World Rugby has postponed the London and Paris tournaments till September and the Hong Kong and Singapore tournaments till October.
