Police will closely monitor the movement of people at various popular picnic spots around the country during this festive season.
Chief Operations Officer ACP Abdul Khan says they want to ensure that safety measures are followed at all times.
Khan says it is part of their duty in ensuring that members of the public continue to be safe as they enjoy themselves during this festive period.
He is urging the public to ensure their homes are secured before they go out and to also inform the nearest community post.
