Police have taken the initial statement of a woman who was allegedly abducted and sold for sex in the Central Division.
Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says they are continuing with the investigation.
Police have not said if any suspects have been identified in the case.
The 19-year-old woman was allegedly held captive in Nausori for more than a week.
She allegedly escaped over the weekend and then reported the matter to Police.
