Police still search for Nabua man who allegedly assaulted his pregnant sister

Police are still searching for the man who allegedly assaulted and struck his pregnant sister with an iron rod following a heated argument about their compound in Nabua while the man who allegedly stabbed his de-facto partner in Nadi remains in custody.

The Nabua woman is currently admitted at the CWM Hospital.

Meanwhile, the man from Nadi is alleged to have forcefully entered the woman’s home yesterday morning, breaching a standing Domestic Violence Restraining Order.

He allegedly stabbed his defacto partner several times over a dispute the two had about the woman socializing with her friends.

The woman has been transferred to the Lautoka Hospital.
