Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu has confirmed they are investigating the cause of an explosion at the Maui Bay picnic spot area earlier this afternoon.
The explosion occurred just after 3pm today.
Tudravu says he has told the officers to conduct a full investigation into the cause of the explosion, and more details will be released later.
