Police are currently investigating the death of a 15-year-old boy who was allegedly drinking alcohol with some people in Laucala Beach yesterday.
According to police, the boy is from Wainunu, Bua.
Police say the matter came to light when the security officer at the CWM Hospital noticed a man conveying the boy’s body to the hospital.
They say the man has since been identified as a taxi driver of Kinoya who told Police that he discovered the boy lying outside a home in Laucala Beach whereby he was vomiting and having breathing difficulties.
Police say the taxi driver rushed the boy to the CWM Hospital.
Police have questioned those who were last seen drinking with the boy.
A post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.
