Raiwaqa Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 16-year old boy who was pronounced dead at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital today.
Police say initial information gathered which is subject to investigation, is that the victim was drinking with other youths in Raiwaqa and were playing around when someone tackled him to the ground.
They say the others sought help when they noticed the victim motionless.
Police adds at this point investigators are gathering more statements while awaiting post mortem examination results.
