A Police boat has been deployed to conduct a search for 7 people who left for Gau yesterday afternoon but failed to arrive as scheduled.
Police received information from a relative residing in Cunningham that the 7 had departed from the Bailey Bridge in a fiberglass boat at 4pm ad were scheduled to arrive at 8pm.
A Police boat has been mobilized to cover the Lomaiviti waters and Mariners are requested to keep a look out and call the Police Command and Control Center on 9905296 if they have any information.
